Bus service during the COVID-19 emergency

Arriva bus services are revised from Monday 3 August 2020

The services will be as follows:

Monday to Friday from 3 August 2020

  • routes 1, 2 will be every 20 minutes until early evening then every 60 minutes in the evening
  • route 3 will be every 15 minutes then every 30 minutes in the evening
  • route 4 will operate every 12 minutes then every 30 minutes in the evening
  • route 5 will operate every 30 during the day with a pre covid timetable during the evening
  • route 5A will operate every 30 minutes during the day
  • route 7 will operate every 20 minutes then every 30 minutes during the evening
  • route 8 will operate a normal service
  • route 11 will operate a service hourly until the early evening
  • route 11A will operate a normal evening service
  • route 13 will operate a normal service
  • route 14 will operate approximately hourly see timetable.
  • route 15 and 16 will operate a normal service
  • route 18 will operate a normal service
  • route 19 and 19A will operate a normal service including a normal evening service
  • Routes X4 and X5 see timetable

Saturday from 8 August 2020

Wrekin Rider

From Monday 6 July 2020 Wrekin Rider Services will once again be operating.

Journeys will be limited to 3 per week to ensure everyone has an opportunity to use the service. Bookings can be made by phoning 01952 388000. Lines will be open daily from 10am to midday. Bookings can be made a maximum of one week in advance. Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis subject to the 3 journey limit.

  • WR2 - revised service.
  • WR3 - revised service .
  • WR17 - normal service.
  • WR18 - normal service.
  • WR19 - normal service.
  • WR69 - revised service.
  • WR70 - normal service.

1 and 4 (Castlefields Way, Woodside) – Monday 13 July 2020 to Friday 28 August 2020 7am to 7pm Northbound only

Due to works on Castlefields Way bus services 1 and 4 will be unable to turn left out of Woodside Avenue. The service 2 and service 4 towards Madeley will operate their normal route.

1 (Majestic Way, Aqueduct) – Tuesday 28 August 2020 to Sunday 9 August 2020 Phase 1

Due to works on Majestic Way bus service 1 will be unable to serve it. It will not serve stops at Pagent Drive, Community Centre, Hazlewood Drive and Lawford Close. The will instead operate via Castlefields Way.

Due to essential roadworks in Kingsland, buses on service 13 will be unable to serve the following stops: Manor Rd & Kingsland.
