What we require to set you up as a supplier

To become a supplier for Telford & Wrekin Council, you must complete and return the supplier form. 

This is a mandatory requirement to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, particularly regarding IR35. The form collects essential information such as your business name, contact details, trading status, VAT and company registration numbers, and the nature of goods or services you provide. Without this completed form, we cannot proceed with any business engagement.

Once you’ve completed the supplier form, please follow these steps:

  • please sign and date the form, using a wet or authorised electronic signature
  • return the completed form to your contact at Telford & Wrekin Council who originally requested it.

Please note: Bank details are not required on this form; they should be included on your invoice/s when submitted for payment.
