The Healthy Lifestyle Service provides a FREE personal service to motivate, encourage and support local people to make changes to improve their health and wellbeing.

The service offers health checks and 6 one to one sessions supporting the areas of healthy eating, weight management, physical activity, alcohol, smoking cessation and emotional health and wellbeing. 

How do I access this service?

We have over 80 Healthy Lifestyle clinics across Telford and Wrekin including evening and weekend appointments.

Advisors work closely with the community and connect clients with a variety of ongoing support within the locality they live. 

All support from the Healthy Lifestyles team is completely FREE and confidential. Appointments are available throughout the week (including out of hours and Saturday morning appointments).

Our drop-in service is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm on the 2nd floor, Southwater One, Southwater Square, Telford, TF3 4JT – no appointment required.

Our programmes include:

  • Healthy Lifestyle Advisor Service (Age 16 +) - one to one behaviour change support to make lifestyle changes
  • Healthy Families Programme (0-16 years) - one to one behaviour change support to families and young people to make long term healthy lifestyle changes
  • Healthy Mums Service - one to one healthy weight management programme for pregnant women and new mums
  • Stop Smoking Service (Age 12+) - a 12 week stop smoking service offering licensed medication and behavioural change support.
